This workshop will cover political context, main issues, policy processes, key players, and positions. It will clarify the roles of Congress and the President in formulating Cuba policy in the United States. This workshop is provided free of charge by the Cuba Project/Bildner Center for Western Hemisphere Studies. The two-hour workshop will cover five main topics: (1) Current Political Dynamics, (2) US Policy toward Cuba, (3) Issues in US-Cuba Relations, (4) Civil Society Advocacy, and (5) Role of Congress and Legislative Initiatives.
